MEXICANO olives are green pitted olives marinated in sunflower oil, cayenne pepper, chili pepper and a spice mix. This spice mix gives it a unique spiciness. Cayenne pepper is a very hot pepper that is obtained from dried and ground red peppers of the Capsicum annuum species.
The Manzanilla olive (little apple in Spanish) is regular and spherical in shape and resembles an apple. It has a balanced bitter-salty and delicate flavor. There is no pronounced bitterness or aftertaste. It is harvested and consumed both green and black (ripe). It is used as a table olive and for making olive oil.
